Live Wedding Paintings
Hello Brides and Grooms!
Commemorate your special day forever with a beautiful original painting. This is a creative activity for your guests to enjoy and for you to have a fine art keepsake for years to come!
I paint a romantic and impressionistic style that captures the energy of the party and the details of the day!
What To Expect
First, we'll decide which moment or pose you'd like captured. This can be painted as it naturally unfolds, from a staged reference photo taken earlier in the day, or from a photo you provide before the wedding.
I arrive a few hours before that selected moment to begin the background and capture the atmosphere of your venue. Throughout the celebration, guests can watch the painting come to life in real time.
Before the evening ends, you'll have the opportunity to view the painting's progress before I take it back to my studio to add the final details and finishing touches.
Capture your wedding night on Canvas!

Setting up, I have a portable easel, stool depending on the venue, phone stand, and painting supplies (acrylic paint, brushes, and jar.) My materials are kept to a minimum as to not clash with the decorations.

Yes! I love when guests come up and talk with me! They love stopping by throughout the night to see the progress.

Yes and no! You tell/show me what pose you’d like to be in and I’ll either snap a quick shot of you both or use a stock reference photo to block the general composition in so no long poses on your part! I’ll reference the quick photo of you both to add all the details of your outfits, jewelry, florals, etc.

The painting will be substantially completed at the event so your guests can enjoy it coming to life. However, I refine the painting and seal it with varnish in my studio afterwards. Then I’ll locally deliver it or ship it to you typically within 2 weeks of the event.

Additional costs for traveling may include a small travel stipend, airfare, car rental, and 1-2 night hotel accommodations.
All costs will be laid out in a contract before your big day!

Yes! I’ve done this many times before and it’s a wonderful way to promote an event or have a unique experience at the event.
I’ve done interactive paintings that people can add a detail or sign a section on a part of the canvas, it’s fun to get creative with these projects!
